The Republican Primary is Tuesday, August 14th.
Polls open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M.
For polling locations, visit the Village of Menomonee Falls website (http://menomonee-falls.org/index.aspx?nid=525) or call 532-4200.
Janice Moyer, Village Clerk, has done an excellent job as the new clerk for Menomonee Falls and would be happy to have the clerk's office answer any questions for voters.
Her professionalism, insight, new programs and accessibility are such a fresh new start compared to what the Village had under the previous clerk.
US Senate Race
The control of the United States Senate for Republicans is at stake and Wisconsin is at the epicenter for that chance.
33 US Senate seats are up for election in 2012 with 23 of those seats currently held by democrats.
In order for the Republicans to gain control of the US Senate, 4 of those 23 democrat seats have to be won by Republicans including the Wisconsin Senate Race as Herb Kohl is not running for re-election as well as the Republicans holding on to their 10 seats.
While all 4 candidates, Thompson, Hovde, Fitzgerald and Neumann are excellent candidates and would be a far cry better than the democrat nominee, Tammy Baldwin, voters have to decide who has the best chance of beating Tammy Baldwin on November 6th and that man is Tommy Thompson.
Without gaining control of the US Senate in November, Harry Reid and his ilk will either block everything that Romney and Ryan try to do or they will push America into a fiscal crisis with the re-election of Barrack Obama.

State Assembly District 22
Representative Don Pridemore is being challenged by Nick Oliver.
Don Pridemore became the state representative for most of Menomonee Falls in 2012 through the 2010 Census and redistricting passed by the legislature and signed by Governor Walker in 2011.
Only a very small portion of northeastern Menomonee Falls is represented by Dan Knodl who formerly represented almost all of Menomonee Falls since 2009.
Don Pridemore has represented the far southwest corner of Menomonee Falls since 2005.
Don Pridemore, Hartford, is a conservative's conservative.
He is for lower taxes, smaller government, pro-family, less regulation, gun rights, voter ID, growing economy and small businesses to name a few.
Nick Oliver is a great guy and small businessman in the area.
Governor Walker needed the help of Don Pridemore to pass his initiatives and Don Pridemore came through for Governor Walker and the State of Wisconsin.
Now it's time we come through for Don Pridemore!
Waukesha County Clerk's Race
It is no secret that the Waukesha County Clerk's Office has been the subject of conversation over the last year or so.
The current Clerk decided not to seek re-election for 2012 and there are now 3 major candidates, Kozlik, Novack and Karalewitz for that office.
While all 3 candidates have their positions to run for the office, Gina Kozlik has a very impressive resume (http://www.kozlik4clerk.com/) and will make an excellent Clerk for Waukesha County.
Her major opponent is Kathy Karalewitz who portrays herself as a republican when she's not!
Through various sources and contacts, The Vanguard, has compiled a "Top Ten List" as to why having Kathy Karalewitz as the Waukesha County Clerk would be a major mistake for taxpayers:
*She is planning to drop all revenue generating programs in the Clerk's Office because she doesn't want to continue doing the work that almost pays for the entire budget of the Clerk's Office.
*She plans to spend some $1,500,000 - $2,000,000 to buy new voting equipment county wide because she refuses to get trained on the existing equipment that works just fine.
*She didn't properly vet some 400 voter registrations in Menomonee Falls in 2004 as part of a George Soros funded program, The Voter's Project, that may have or did include a forged signature, improper ID, false names, false addresses, deceased voters, etc.
*She was cited by the Government Accountability Board (GAB) in 2008 for not knowing and misapplying State Election Law for various state statutes, campaign contributions and filing deadlines.
*She called a member of a Village Committee a "b" when the committee member stepped down from the committee realizing that the Village didn't want any new ideas or ways to improve Village Government.
*She purposely turned in the election results from Muskego for the April 3, 2012 Presidential Primary to the County Clerk's Office after 12:30 A.M. to make the clerk look bad in the press and media as she herself was gearing up to run for the Clerk's Office herself.
*She appeared to disenfranchise some 60-80 voters in the 2004 Republican Assembly Primary in Menomonee Falls by having the incorrect ballots handed out to voters and accused the voters for being wrong when they brought the matter to her attention only to be corrected by the GAB. The race was decided by some 150 votes or so and could have been challenged by the losing candidate because of the srewup, but he chose not to.
*She's on her 3rd or 4th job in the last 5-6 years.
*She filed a false working environment claim against a public official in Menomonee Falls costing taxpayers some $30,000 that was dismissed without any merit and later described by one of the office employees as a bunch of "bull*%$#" only to have the "confidential matter" that she wanted kept confidential appear in her favorite newspaper, Journal Sentinel, a couple of days before an election that undoubtedly had an impact on the election.
*She is no republican and only joined the Waukesha County Republican Party recently because she knew she wouldn't stand a chance to win as a democrat.
Be sure to vote on August 14th!
