Kelly Frings, St. Mary’s 2006 alum and an incoming Senior at Pius XI High School has made a verbal commitment to accept a full-ride basketball scholarship to Bradley University. She informed Lady Braves head coach Paula Buscher of her decision to attend the Missouri Valley school during a recent phone conversation.
The 6'1 forward, was named honorable mention All-State by the Associated Press this past season, and 1st team All-Conference, after leading the Classic Eight conference in scoring (13.1 points per game), rebounding (7.4), steals (2.1), and 3-point field goals (23)
Frings joins her AAU teammate Kelsey Budd, (Jr; Sauk Prairie H.S., WI) who committed to the Braves two weeks ago.
Frings selected Bradley over Northern Iowa, Ball State, Miami (OH), Princeton and Air Force.
