First Grade Outreach
Last years’ First Graders Experienced “Inscribing Jesus on Your Hearts” Through Community Outreach
Over the years, one of our Senior parishioners enjoyed the letters first graders had sent to her in our Senior Letter program. Before she passed away last spring, this parishioner let the children know just how much those letters meant to her. She left a gift to them!
First, she treated all the first graders to cupcakes and juice. She also donated funds to our school. Through her generosity, our school now has the amazing computer program, Kidspiration, which the Kindergarten through 5th grade students will use to enhance their writing, reading, and math skills.
Children reaching out to Seniors…..a Senior parishioner touching the lives of our students. What a great connection!!
