Dick and Nancy Meyer, lifelong residents of Menomonee Falls until retiring to Arlington, Texas, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary April 14, 2011.
Children of the couple are Dave of Milwaukee, Ann (and Tom) Steppe of Cedarburg, Al (and Karen) of Madison and Jim (and Twila) of Arlington.
Grandchildren are Karen (and Allen) Ebert, Jill Steppe (and Mike Ries), Kelli (and Chris) Richards, Brian Meyer and Scott Meyer. Great-grandchildren are Halli, Lena and Keaten Ries, Greysen and Camden Ebert, and Sofia and Tyler Richards.
The couple met with mutual friends at the old Falls Lanes bowling alley. They married April 14, 1951, at the "Old Red Church," now the Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church, in Menomonee Falls.
Dick worked at Delco Electronics for 43 years, and Nancy was a homemaker.
The couple will celebrate with their loved ones while in the Phoenix area for their grandson's wedding.
