Robert H. Kuhn

Robert H. Kuhn of Germantown died July 18, 2009, at age 81, after a long battle with cancer.

Bob was the former president of Cedar Lake Health & Rehab Benevolent Corp. and Board of Directors. He was also the former president of Deutschstadt Heritage Foundation of Germantown. He was on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce, Lion's Club and the Historical Society of Germantown and he was on the Board of Directors for 40 years at Germantown Marine Bank. Bob was the Citizen of the Year in 1992 and he was the past treasurer of the Germantown School Board.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Elaine; daughter, Deborah Kay (Alex) Kruszewski; stepchildren, Renee Bertz, Jeff (Betsy) Zotcavage and Karen Silva; grandchildren, Mathew, Kyle, Jessica, Brent, Donald, Angela and Amanda; great-grandchild, Austin; brother, Daniel (Clara Mae) Kuhn; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arline (nee Aulenbacher); brother and sisters, William and Pearl Kuhn and Lois Hornig.

Funeral services will be held July 24 at noon at the funeral home, W17937 Menomonee Ave., Menomonee Falls. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until noon. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Memorials are suggested to Victory International Fellowship Church in Brookfield or Cedar Lake Hospice in West Bend.

The family thanks the Nurses and CNA's at Cedar Lake and Cedar Hospice for their care of Bob.

Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral and Cremation Services handled the arrangements.
