1Three aluminum overhead doors were damaged during an attempted burglary at Burton Mayer Corp., W140 N9000 Lilly Road, between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16 and 8 a.m. Oct. 17. The unknown suspect(s) attempted to pry or push the doors where three company vehicles were parked. Catalytic converters had been stolen off the vehicles on Sept. 9, and police believe the suspect(s) were targeting the vehicles again. Damage to the doors is estimated at $2,000.
2Camera equipment, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen from a residence in the N92 W16000 block of Roger Avenue at 10 a.m. Oct. 4. The victim stated the theft took place sometime between noon Sept. 25 and 10 a.m. Oct. 4.
3A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for shoplifting after she was seen hiding a bottle of ranch dressing in her purse at Woodman's, W124 N8145 Highway 145, at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 9.
4A briefcase was stolen from a locked car parked in the Village Park lot, N87 W17001 Garfield Drive, between 7:15 and 9:15 p.m. Oct. 12. The unknown suspects broke the passenger side window to gain access.
5A 50-year-old Sussex man was arrested for stealing gas from Mobil, N85 W16198 Appleton Ave., at 1:35 p.m. Oct. 13. The clerk at the station copied down the license plate number of the vehicle and he was cited at his residence in Sussex.
6A tailgate was stolen off a black Ford F-250 truck while it was parked in an unsecured sales lot at EVS, N88 W14167 Main St., between 9 p.m. Oct. 9 and 11 a.m. Oct. 10.
7A $500 generator was stolen from a work site in the N79 W14600 block of Appleton Avenue between 3 p.m. Oct. 12 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 15. The generator was chained to a support beam and the unknown suspect(s) cut the chain and removed the unit.
8A leaf blower, hedge trimmer and a string trimmer were stolen from an unlocked, enclosed trailer parked in a fenced-in lot at Exclusive Services, N59 W14176 Kaul Ave., between 5 p.m. Oct. 12 and 10 a.m. Oct. 15.
9An orange 20-inch stunt bike was stolen out of an open residential garage in the W137 N7300 block of Claas Road between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 17.
10The owner of a $4,000 dump-style trailer reported it was stolen out of a lot in the N71 W13600 block of Nicolet Court between Sept. 30 and Oct. 25.
11A credit card was stolen from an employee at Actuant, N86 W12500 Westbrook Crossing, between 1 and 6:15 p.m. Oct. 5. The unknown suspect(s) used the debit card at several locations in Milwaukee.
12A television set was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the N89 W15300 block of Cleveland Avenue between 5 p.m. Oct. 19 and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 20.
13A 31-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for operating a vehicle without the owner's consent and theft after he stole a car and a TV set from his mother's home in the N76 W14700 block of Northpoint Drive between 10 p.m. Oct. 20 and 6 a.m. Oct. 21. The car was recovered in Milwaukee but the TV was not found.
14A wallet was stolen from an employee at Actuant, N85 W12545 Westbrook Crossing, between noon and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22. The unknown suspect(s) used the victim's credit cards at Walmarts in Milwaukee before he could cancel the cards. Police are attempting to obtain video from the stores.
15A 22-year-old Richfield man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on Pilgrim Road and Rainbow Drive at 2:15 a.m. Oct. 20.
16An 18-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Lilly and Mill roads at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 23.
17A 36-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for drunken driving after an officer pulled him over for driving left of the centerline of traffic in the 21400 block of Menomonee Avenue at 8:25 a.m. Oct. 20. The driver failed field sobriety tests and a legal blood draw was taken, the results of which were unavailable.
18A 53-year-old Hartford woman escaped injury after her car engine started on fire while traveling southbound on Highway 41, approximately 200 feet south of Pilgrim Road at 6 a.m. Oct. 12. The driver pulled off the road and onto the shoulder due to mechanical problems, and several minutes later the engine compartment became fully engulfed in flames. The car was totaled; no loss estimate was listed in the report.
19A 56-year-old Milwaukee man was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries when his car was struck in the rear while both cars were traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 41 just north of Main Street shortly after 3 p.m. Oct. 18. The driver who struck his car, a 17-year-old Milwaukee man, was changing lanes when he rear-ended the victim's car. He was cited for speeding/driving too fast for conditions.
20A 66-year-old Milwaukee man was transported to the hospital after a car collided with his vehicle and pushed it into the median barrier while they were both traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 41 just north of Main Street at 3:09 p.m. Oct. 18. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 27-year-old Fond du Lac man, was arrested for drunken driving and cited for causing injury while driving drunk, inattentive driving and no insurance.
21A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested for forgery after they passed fraudulent checks at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, shortly before 8:30 a.m. Oct. 22. When questioned by police, the male suspect admitted to buying a Wisconsin driver's license and a checkbook in another person's name and then using them to make fraudulent purchases.
