Menomonee Falls — Police are looking for a man who stole a woman’s wallet out of her purse while she was shopping at Pick ’n Save last week.
According to the incident report:
The victim, an 82-year-old Menomonee Falls woman, was shopping at Pick ’n Save, N96 W18273 County Line Road, at 2:10 p.m. Dec. 18 when she was approached by a man who asked her questions about food.
While she was distracted the man removed her wallet from her purse, which was lying inside of her shopping cart. The wallet contained about $300 cash, a Visa card, a Wisconsin driver’s license and a Social Security card.
The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 35 and 40. The investigation is ongoing.
Brookfield police recently issued a second warning about ongoing wallet thefts in the area.
