THEFT

1A female employee was arrested for employee theft after she admitted stealing $1,070 from cash registers at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, between June 19 and Aug. 20. She was terminated from her job, immediately paid the full restitution amount directly to her employer and was cited for theft.

2The driver of a white Buick Century left without paying for $50 of gas at Citgo, N48 W15636 Lisbon Road, at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14.

3The rear license plate was stolen off a 2006 Ford F150 while it was parked in the N85 W15900 block of Appleton Avenue between 11 p.m. Aug. 15 and 4 p.m. Aug. 17.

4Twelve cans of Gerber baby formula at Pick 'n Save, N95 W18273 County Line Road, at 12:25 p.m. Aug. 19. The suspect, described as a male wearing a light blue baseball hat, white T-shirt and gray, blue and brown plaid knee-length shorts, fled the lot in an older, forest green station wagon.

5Twenty-two cans of baby formula and some clothing items were stolen by a man concealing them inside a large garbage can in his cart at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 19. The suspect was confronted by store security before he exited the store and then fled in a 2012 gray Volkswagen Passat, leaving the cart and stolen merchandise behind. The same subject is also wanted for attempting to shoplift five bottles of liquor at Piggly Wiggly, N81 W15182 Appleton Ave., about 20 minutes later. The suspect was again confronted by an employee and left the items before fleeing the lot in his 2012 Volkswagen.

6A subject was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of clothing by concealing it inside a backpack at Kohl's Department Store, N95 W18000 Appleton Ave., at about 4:05 p.m. Aug. 22. The suspect ran across Appleton Avenue at Premier Lane after being confronted by store security and was taken into custody at Monarch and Premier lanes.

7A street sign was stolen at Lancaster Avenue and Ridgeway Lane on Aug. 23.

DRUG POSSESSION

8Officers responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the N92 W17700 block of White Oak Circle arrested a 22-year-old Sussex man for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia at 8:10 p.m. Aug. 16. Police also arrested a 25-year-old Sussex man for obstructing and took him into custody for having two valid warrants for his arrest, and took a 22-year-old man into custody for a probation violation.

9A 62-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drugged driving, third offense, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Main Street and Fond du Lac Avenue at about 2:20 a.m. Aug. 18.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

10A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving while police were investigating a single-car accident on Main Street and Highway 41 at 2:20 a.m. Aug. 18. The suspect was not involved in the accident, but came to the scene because the subject involved in the accident was her boyfriend. Her BAC was 0.11.

11A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he was found sleeping in the driver's seat of his car with his foot on the brake and the vehicle in drive in the right turn lane on Old Orchard Road and Highway 145 at 4:20 a.m. Aug. 18. He was also arrested for drug offenses after police found nine plastic bags containing marijuana, four plastic bags containing cocaine and a pipe in his car, and was taken into custody for a probation violation. His blood alcohol content was 0.12.

12A 26-year-old Butler man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after he was pulled over for speeding on Silver Spring Drive and Williams Place at about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 19. His BAC was 0.17.

OTHER

13A male subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a crack pipe in his possession after police responded to the N57 W21600 block of Memorial Court to check out a family disturbance call at about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 18. The suspect was also arrested for disorderly conduct for causing a disturbance by yelling loudly and demanding money.

14Officers responding to a report of an intoxicated subject riding a bicycle on private property and bothering employees arrested a 53-year-old man for a probation and parole violation at Briggs & Stratton, N83 W12529 Old Orchard Road, at about 5 p.m. Aug. 18. The man was arrested for felony probation violation because he violated his absolute sobriety restriction. His BAC was 0.25.

15A 24-year-old man was arrested for obstructing an officer and was taken into custody for having a valid warrant through the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department after the car he was riding in was pulled over for a defective tail light in the 13100 block of Silver Spring Drive at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 23.

· Menomonee Falls police assisted with one rescue call between Aug. 14 and Aug. 23.
