Police Report: April 15

THEFT

1A catalytic converter was cut off a 1999 Pontiac Montana minivan in the main parking lot at Woodman's, W124 N8145 Highway 145, between 4:05 and 6:55 p.m. April 1. Damage is estimated at $890.

2A security employee at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, reported a male shoplifted three portable hard drives about 11:30 a.m. April 4, and also shoplifted four portable hard drives April 6. Police discovered the thief, described as a 6-foot, 2-inch white male between 30 and 40 years old and weighing about 210 pounds, sold the stolen items to Record Head in West Allis on April 6 and 7, and four of the hard drives were recovered and returned to Target. Investigation is ongoing.

3A patron's locker key was stolen while he played basketball at the Tri-County YMCA, N84 W17501 Menomonee Ave., between 7 and 9 p.m. April 4. His cellphone and wallet were stolen out of his locker.

4A 29-year-old man was arrested for stealing a water heater and scrap metal at Joe Debelak Plumbing & Heating, W143 N9358 Henry Stark Road, after the owner arrived at the business and found him loading scrap metal into a red Chevy Suburban near the loading dock about 9:30 a.m. April 5. The owner took the keys from the man's vehicle to prevent him from leaving until police arrived.

5A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing $30 worth of gas at Speedway, N87 W17245 Main St., at 4:30 p.m. April 6. After he was arrested he also admitted to stealing $124 worth of gas at the same business March 29. After it was discovered he was on probation for carrying a concealed weapon, police also took him into custody on a probation violation.

6An unknown man driving a four-door, white Infinity left without paying for $70 worth of gas at Good To Go Citgo, N88 W15167 Main St., about 7:50 p.m. April 6.

7A handgun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at St. James Parish, W220 N6588 Town Line Road, between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. April 7.

8A catalytic converter was stolen off a 2000 Ford Econoline van at All About Learning, N88 W15105 Main St., between 7 p.m. April 8 and 8 a.m. April 9.

· Three Menomonee Falls residents reported their identity was stolen between April 1 and April 9. The unknown suspect(s) used the stolen information to make $3,175 worth of fraudulent purchases.

DRUG POSSESSION

9A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both of Menomonee Falls, were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 5400 block of Adamdale Drive at 9:35 p.m. April 5. Menomonee Falls police pulled their vehicle over while assisting the Washington County Sheriff's Department with a possible kidnapping that occurred in their jurisdiction.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

10A man was arrested for drunken driving after he was pulled over for having a defective driver-side stop lamp and suspended registration at Appleton Avenue and Ridge Road at 1:40 a.m. April 4. His blood-alcohol content was 0.15.

11A 34-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was pulled over for an unsafe lane deviation on County Line and Pilgrim roads about 2:30 a.m. April 6. She refused to take a breath test and was taken into custody.

· Menomonee Falls police responded to one domestic violence call between April 4 and April 9.
