Menomonee Falls Police Reports 5/15/2014

Theft

1An unknown person or persons smashed out a window on three vehicles and stole items out of two of the vehicles while they were parked at Applebee's, W180 N9469 Premier Lane, sometime between 11 and 11:40 p.m. May 3. A purse was stolen out of one vehicle and a backpack was stolen out of another.

2An unknown male and female shoplifted a bottle of alcohol at Citgo, N48 W15636 Lisbon Road, at about 12:05 p.m. May 6. The two suspects, described only as a black male and white female, returned to the store at about 2:55 p.m. and were confronted by the cashier, who told them to pay for the bottle they stole earlier. The male suspect then said, "I'm not paying for anything," and both suspects stole another bottle of alcohol and fled. Police are following up with the business to identify the suspects.

Drug possession

3A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and felony possession of a narcotic drug without a prescription during a traffic stop for a registration violation in the 9000 block of Pilgrim Road at about 2:10 a.m. May 4. A 27-year-old Milwaukee man also was arrested for obstructing after he gave false identification to police and was taken into custody for having an outstanding warrant.

4A 35-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a glass pipe in the center console of his vehicle when he was pulled over for a registration violation on Appleton and Arthur avenues at about 11:55 p.m. May 5.

5A 27-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Grand and Grant avenues at about 12:10 p.m. May 8. She was also taken into custody for having an outstanding warrant for possession of marijuana through the Germantown Police Department.

Drunken driving

6A 55-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he was stopped for driving left of the center line on Lisbon and One Mile Roads at about 2:55 a.m. May 3. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of .11.

Vandalism

7Officers responded to a 911 call from a man who reported that his girlfriend's husband was outside his residence in the 8500 block of Ann Court and attempting to confront him. The officers arrested and cited a 42-year-old man for vandalism after he damaged the passenger side mirror assembly on the caller's vehicle and then fled the scene at about 7:10 p.m. May 3.

Other

8A man was bitten by a dog while he was walking in the 14400 block of Thornhill Drive at about 3:10 p.m. May 2. The victim suffered a puncture wound on the middle finger of his right hand and a possible puncture wound on his right hip and was treated at Aurora Healthcare. The dog was up-to-date on its vaccines but was not licensed with the village and quarantine paperwork was issued.
