Menomonee Falls Police report: August 21, 2014

1An unknown person(s) stole $2,400 from a hidden storage area inside a home in the 6100 block of Marcy Road sometime between 10 p.m. Aug. 7 and 5 p.m. Aug. 8. There was no forced entry to the home and the burglary is still under investigation.


2An unknown person shoplifted $148 worth of merchandise at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, at about 4:10 p.m. July 30. The theft was captured on video surveillance and police are following up.

3An unknown female riding a bicycle filled a gas can with $17 worth of gas and then left without paying at Good To Go Citgo, N88 W15167 Main St., at about 9:35 p.m. Aug. 8.

4An unknown male pushed a cart filled with $376 worth of unpaid meat and seafood out into the parking lot at Woodman’s, W124 N8145 Highway 145, and then fled when confronted by a store employee at about 7:50 a.m. Aug. 9.

5A 23-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he attempted to return items he had not purchased at Woodman’s, W124 N8145 Highway 145, at about 11:35 a.m. Aug. 11.

6Two unknown males stole about 12 10-foot sections of stainless steel from Duwe Metal Products, N57 W13500 Carmen Ave., at about 11:35 p.m. Aug. 10.

Drug Possession

7A 21-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on Main and Church streets after police pulled his bicycle over for having several equipment violations at about 8:20 p.m. Aug. 10.

8An officer investigating an illegally parked, occupied vehicle on Wigwam Drive and How Avenue arrested a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman for possession of marijuana at about 1:35 a.m. Aug. 13.

9A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled him over for a traffic violation in the 15500 block of Main Street at about 4:45 a.m. Aug. 13.


10An unknown person(s) egged numerous cars in the 7400 block of Westwoood Drive, causing damage to the paint on some of the vehicles sometime between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 8. A possible suspect was identified and police are following up.

11An unknown person(s) damaged four tiki torches at a residence in the 19300 block of Menomonee Avenue sometime between 7 p.m. Aug. 10 and 6 a.m. Aug. 11.


12A woman reported she was walking her American bulldog on a leash in the 7400 block of Joanne Drive when an unleashed white German shepherd ran across the street and attacked her dog at about 8:50 p.m. Aug. 10. The owner of the attacking dog was issued a warning for allowing a dog to run at large.

13A resident in the 17200 block of Grand Avenue called police after two unleashed dogs got into his backyard and attacked his dog at about 7:35 p.m. Aug. 10.

Menomonee Falls police responded to one domestic violence call between Aug. 7 and Aug. 13.
