NOW Newspapers, publisher of Germantown-Menomonee Falls NOW and seven other suburban weekly newspapers, was presented with 22 awards Friday at the Wisconsin Newspaper Association annual convention in Madison.
The Better Newspapers Contest recognizes the top journalism in the state. Eligible entries were published between Sept. 1, 2011, and Aug. 31, 2012.
Germantown-Menomonee Falls NOW sports reporter Steven L. Tietz took second place in the Sports Feature Story category and online editor Matt Newman won a third-place award in the Web Special Project category for its Battle of the Burbs feature.
NOW Newspapers also won the following honors:
