State Rep. Don Pridemore, R-Erin, will be attending Town Hall Meetings with U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner.
Pridemore said in a news release he looks forward to interacting with constituents and resolving any concerns they may have.
The town hall meetings are as follows: 11:30 a.m. April 19 at Lannon Village Hall, 20399 W. Main St.; at 1:15 p.m. April 19 at Butler Village Hall, 12621 W. Hampton Ave.; and at 9 a.m. April 20 at Menomonee Falls Village Hall, N8480 Pilgrim Road.
District saves on transportation contract
Menomonee Falls - The Menomonee Falls School District expects to save about $70,000 under a new three-year pupil transportation services contract with Johnson School Bus Service.
The School Board on Monday approved the contract for the 2013-14 through 2015-16 school years.
Johnson School Bus Service has provided student transportation for the district for several years, according to a memo from Business Services Director Jeffrey Gross.
Beyond the $70,000 achieved through the contract, Superintendent Patricia Greco said the district also is anticipating additional transportation savings of about $180,000 in the 2013-14 school year, through the consolidation of unfilled bus routes.
Germantown joins effort
to collect 35,000 meals
Germantown - Carroll University alumni and other members of the Germantown community are invited to join Carroll's nationwide effort to collect 35,000 meals for the hungry by April 13.
Desert Aire Corp., W18485 Freistadt Road in Germantown, is one of 14 food collection sites in seven states. Donations of nonperishable food can be dropped off between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Participants may also donate to any local food pantry and are asked to fill out a simple form at carrollu.edu/alumni/food/foodsurvey.asp to have their donation included in the total collected.
Target Corp. and Feeding America are partners for the third annual National Day of Service food drive organized by Waukesha-based Carroll. In two years, the effort has raised nearly 60,000 meals.
Rummage 4 Rambo needs your donations
Germantown - JK Lee Tae Kwon Do requires a community support project in order to achieve the level of black belt. Two boys want to help Rambo, Germantown's very own canine officer.
The boys are hosting the first Rummage 4 Rambo on May 25. However, they need community donations, from household items to monetary items.

Principal receives administrator of the year award
Menomonee Falls - Riverside Elementary School Principal Scott Walter was recognized as the Administrator of the Year by the Civic Music Association for his work in support music education and teachers at the school.
He will be honored May 5.
Hospital hosts spring
fundraiser, offers raffles
Menomonee Falls - A $2,000 cash prize and an assortment of $100 gift certificates for 10 of southeastern Wisconsin's restaurants are the top prizes in the 2013 Spring Splendor raffles, coordinated by the Community Memorial Foundation.
The Bonus Baby Raffle features a $2,000 cash first prize, $750 cash second prize, $500 cash third prize and $250 cash fourth prize. Tickets are $25 each or six for $100.
The winner of the Crackerjack Restaurant Raffle will receive one, $100 gift certificate to each of 10 restaurants. Tickets are $20 each or seven for $100. Winners for both raffles will be drawn at Spring Splendor 2013 Grand Slam April 27 at Miller Park. Winners need not be present to win. The event is the annual gala fundraiser benefiting Froedtert Health Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls. This year's event will directly benefit the hospital's emergency department/trauma unit.
Grand Slam tickets are $175 per person and include an evening of dinner, silent and voice auctions and entertainment. Tickets for both raffles, as well as tickets for the event, can be purchased by calling Community Memorial Foundation at (262) 257-3761 or email donna.roesch

MFHS art earned honors
at Milwaukee art fair
Menomonee Falls - Menomonee Falls High School was represented at the 2013 Milwaukee Regional Art Fair at the Oconomowoc Arts Center. The exhibit was on display through March 8.
Each art teacher in the Milwaukee area could submit 30 pieces of student artwork. The exhibit consisted of 10 pieces in two categories, with approximately 20 pieces overall for the exhibit. The preliminary judging of the artwork took place at the end of January and MFHS finalists included: Emma Stadelman (ceramics), Julia Lehnen (ceramics), Sara Granke (mixed media), Jill Schwiess (two paintings), Miranda Thom (digital art), Rosie Minster (drawing), Sage Krupp (drawing), Marisa Martina (mixed media), Becca Chudecke (photography) and Rex Ayudan (photography).
In addition, MFHS art student Miranda Thom, brought home the honor of first place in the high school 2D division. Her winning piece, along with the other finalists, will be on display in the MFHS Art Gallery, N8101 Merrimac Drive, until the end of April.
