Germantown approves two rezonings for property split

Germantown - After two public hearings with no objections from residents, the Germantown Village Board on Monday approved the rezoning of two different properties to allow the owners to split their respective land into two lots for future development.

Kevin and Donna Nash, owners of about 2 acres on Country Aire Drive, requested a zone change from RS-3 to RS-4 zoning. Both zones are single family residential; however, moving to RS-4 allows the owners to split the property into two smaller lots and build a future, single-family residence.

Jon Guenther, an agent for property owners Charles and Susan Rusch, requested a change to zoning and the certified survey map for a portion of their 39 acres located south of Pioneer Road and one-half mile east of Division Road. Zoning was changed from A-1 Agricultural to A-2 Agricultural on a small piece of the land, which will allow the property owners to build a single family residence.

The certified survey map was also adjusted to reflect the split into two lots.
