BURGLARY
1An unknown suspect(s) attempted to forcibly enter the Kramer Chiropractic office, N88 W16953 Main St., by prying on a back door of the building between 11 a.m. April 7 and 8 a.m. April 11. The suspects were unsuccessful in gaining access into the business.
THEFT
2A locked mountain bike was stolen from Menomonee Falls High School, W142 N8101 Merrimac Drive, between March 28 and April 6.
3A 55-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for stealing aluminum cans from recycling bins on Grand and Cleveland avenues at 5:30 a.m. April 5. The man was arrested after he was warned by police officers that scavenging from recycling bins was an ordinance violation, but then came back a few minutes later and began removing more recycling materials.
4Three driveway drainage grates were taken from the rear of Autoquip, N57 W13430 Reichert Ave., between 5 p.m. April 5 and 8:15 p.m. April 7.
5Drivers of two separate vehicles left without paying for a total of $181 of gas at Speedway, N87 W17245 Main St., shortly after 7 p.m. April 5. The drivers pumped gas simultaneously and then fled the business. One of the vehicles involved is believed to have committed prior gasoline drive-offs in the area.
6An unknown suspect(s) stole a GPS unit, a digital organizer and a pair of boots from several locked vehicles parked in a storage lot at Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler, N60 W16180 Kohler Lane, between 2 p.m. April 7 and 6:30 a.m. April 9. The suspect(s) cut through a galvanized steel chain link fence to enter the storage lot, and then smashed windows on multiple vehicles to gain access to the items.
7A supervisor reported a spool of copper wiring and copper lugs, valued at $1,000, was taken from MTE, N83 W13330 Leon Road, at 8:20 a.m. April 11. The supervisor told police the thefts took place over the past two weeks.
DRUG POSSESSION
8A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on Appleton Avenue and Pilgrim Road shortly before 10 p.m. April 7. The driver of the car, a 26-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle, speeding and driving with no insurance.
ACCIDENTS
9A 94-year-old Menomonee Falls man was transported to the hospital with possible injuries after he was struck by a car in the parking at Pick 'n Save, N77 W14435 Appleton Ave., shortly after 5 p.m. April 6. The victim was pushing a shopping cart toward the building when he was struck by a car backing out of a parking space. The driver of the car, a 72-year-old Milwaukee woman, was cited for unsafe backing.
VANDALISM
10A window on the west side of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, N89 W16856 Appleton Ave., was damaged by a BB between 7 p.m. April 4 and 5:15 p.m. April 5.
Menomonee Falls police responded to one domestic violence call and three rescue calls between April 4 and April 11.
