THEFT

1The driver of a silver 2006 BMW truck left without paying for $79 of gas at Speedway, N87 W17245 Main St., at 12:20 p.m. March 22. A license plate number was obtained and police are investigating.

2An employee reported the theft of a laptop computer, valued at $3,500, from the office at Graphic Systems, W133 N5138 Campbell Drive, at 2:40 p.m. March 26. The laptop was last seen on March 5.

A resident reported she was swindled out of $8,745 by a telephone solicitor at 3 p.m. March 29. The victim was contacted by the unknown suspect who advised she had won a sweepstakes prize of $3.9 million, and then tricked the victim into sending her own money to Baltimore via Moneygram to cover "fees and taxes." The phone numbers used in the scam were disposable cell phones.

3The driver of a green Plymouth Sundance left without paying for $25 of gas at Pilgrim Petro, N48 W15636 Lisbon Road, at 11:35 a.m. April. 1. Police are reviewing surveillance video of the theft.

4Two unknown suspects in a 1997 Ford Taurus pumped $62.50 of gas and fled without paying at BP Falls Amoco, N71 W13161 Appleton Ave., at 9:35 p.m. March 26. A license plate number was obtained and police are reviewing surveillance video of the incident.

5A purse containing a cellphone was stolen from a locked van parked at Froedtert Clinic, W180 N7950 Town Hall Road, between 1:45 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. April 2. The purse was hidden under clothing on the front passenger seat. The unknown suspect(s) gained entry by smashing out a window on the van.

6An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting after he was observed removing condoms from a box and concealing them in his pants pocket at Woodman's Food Market, W124 N8145 Highway 145, at 10:50 a.m. April 3. The suspect was also cited for resisting arrest.

DRUG POSSESSION

7A 50-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the N88 W14800 block of Main Street shortly before 4 a.m. April 3. Police located a crack pipe on the ground near her residence after her 80-year-old husband, who was found walking up Pilgrim Road, told police he had an argument with his wife and indicated drug use was involved.

8A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drugged driving after police detected a strong odor of marijuana inside his car during a traffic stop on Good Hope and Pilgrim roads at 6:45 a.m. April 2. A legal blood draw was taken, the results of which were unavailable at the time of the incident report.

VANDALISM

9Two call boxes were pulled from the wall and thrown to the ground at Zion Lutheran School, N48 W18700 Lisbon Road, between 3:30 p.m. March 28 and 8 a.m. March 29. Damage is estimated at $50.

OTHER

10A 49-year-old Menomonee Falls man received two municipal citations for improper care of animals after police found two dogs tied to a short leash with no food, water or shelter in the front yard of a residence in the N55 W21300 block of Logan Drive shortly before 7 a.m. March 30.

11A counterfeit $20 bill was received at the Menomonee Falls Cornerstone Community Bank, N91 W17231 Appleton Ave., before 9:45 a.m. April 4. The counterfeit bill was contained in a cash transfer from their Grafton bank branch.

12An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for underage drinking after police discovered an open bottle of tequila wrapped in a paper bag in the back seat of a vehicle in the N77 W16300 block of Countryside Drive at 11 a.m. April 4. The suspect's preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.17.

Menomonee Falls police responded to one domestic violence call between March 27 and April 4.
