THEFT

1The driver of a silver, 2004 Hyundai left without paying for $35 of gas at Paul's Mobil, N56 W13920 Silver Spring Drive, at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 9.

2A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested after she fought with an employee attempting to detain her for shoplifting at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, shortly before 4 p.m. Aug. 13. The suspect was arrested for felony retail theft and disorderly conduct.

3An electronic tablet was stolen from a truck parked in the rear lot of True Grinding, N60 W14411 Kaul Ave., between 12:50 and 1:55 p.m. Aug. 15. The unknown suspect(s) gained entry through the driver's side window, which was left rolled down when parked.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

4A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for prohibited alcohol concentration and unsafe lane deviation on Appleton Avenue and Ruby Road shortly after midnight Aug. 10. Her preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.20.

5A 55-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for drunken/drugged driving and cited for inattentive driving, hit and run (property), no insurance and a seat belt violation inattentive driving after his vehicle left the roadway and struck two mailboxes and a light pole in the 16000 block of Cherokee Drive at 8:10 p.m. Aug. 7. His BAC was unavailable.

ACCIDENTS

6A 39-year-old Menomonee Falls man was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after he darted across the roadway and was struck by a car on Appleton Avenue north of Jacobsen Drive at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 10. The man was cited for failure to yield the right of way to a motorist.

VANDALISM

7A double-pane, insulated window was damaged at Wingspan Glass Technologies Inc., N90 W16946 Appleton Ave., between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 7:20 a.m. Aug. 8. The unknown suspect(s) apparently shot a metal ball bearing through the front window, causing a one-half-inch hole in the glass. Damage is estimated at $450.

8The rear exit door window at Griddler's Café, N88 W16747 Appleton Ave., was damaged when someone threw a hard object at the door between 10 p.m. Aug. 12 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 13.

9An unknown suspect(s) used a rock to damage a window frame on the north side of Starbucks, W176 N9360 River Crest Drive, between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 13 and 4 a.m. Aug. 14. It did not appear the suspect(s) were trying to burglarize the business.

OTHER

10A 17-year-old Menomonee Falls girl was arrested for underage drinking, possession of tobacco and resisting an officer, and a 17-year-old Menomonee Falls boy was cited for underage drinking in the N66 W12659 block of Ravine Drive at 2:05 a.m. Aug. 10.

11A 23-year-old Germantown man was taken into custody for carrying a concealed weapon (knife) and two outstanding traffic warrants with the Germantown Police Department after officers found him sleeping in a car parked in the lot at Pool Park Inc., N88 W15192 Main St., at 11:35 p.m. Aug. 14. The suspect was impaired and admitted taking methadone for his heroin addiction. Further charges against the man are pending.
