THEFT
1The driver of a red, four-door vehicle left without paying for $30 of gasoline at Phillips 66, N75 W13916 Appleton Ave., at 3 p.m. Feb. 17.
2The assistant manager at Best Buy, N95 W16855 Richfield Way, reported the theft of an unknown number of iPads by a group of three males and two females at 7:55 p.m. Feb. 17. The suspects concealed the iPads in a woman's purse before leaving the store on foot, walking north past Penny Mustard Furniture. The same group is also suspected of being involved in other thefts from Best Buy since Feb. 8.
3A plastic door sign was taken off the men's restroom in the pavilion at Village Park, N87 W17001 Garfield Drive, before 10:37 p.m. Feb. 17.
4A Southwest Expressline 6-foot by 12-foot enclosed trailer, valued at $2,768, was taken from a parking lot east of Aqua Poly Equipment, W140 N5970 Lilly Road, between midnight Feb. 17 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 19. The trailer was locked and contained temperature control units, valued at $2,100, used in the plastics industry.
DRUG POSSESSION
5A 20-year-old Germantown man was arrested for drug possession after officers located a marijuana blunt inside his vehicle during a traffic stop on Lavergne Court and Avenue at 11:45 p.m. Feb. 20.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
6A 59-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for drunken driving after she backed into a garbage can while exiting the wrong way at Starbucks South, N84 W15825 Appleton Ave., at 7:25 p.m. Feb. 18. The suspect failed field sobriety tests and admitted drinking intoxicants before driving. She was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable at the time of the report.
7A 38-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, on Main Street and Pilgrim Road at 3:15 a.m. Feb. 19. His blood alcohol content was 0.17.
8A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving on Appleton Avenue and Lilly Road at 1:43 a.m. Feb. 20. His blood alcohol content was 0.32.
VANDALISM
9A 5-foot pole with an attached "megaphone" was damaged on a play set outside of the Menomonee Falls Public Library, W156 N8436 Pilgrim Road, before 1:50 p.m. Feb. 19. Damage to the play set was estimated at $50.
Menomonee Falls police assisted with one rescue call between Feb. 17 and Feb. 20.
