THEFT

Two baby changing stations and an unopened case of Nestle instant hot cocoa were stolen from Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church, N84 W16707 Menomonee Ave., between 11 p.m. Jan. 6 and 7 a.m. Jan. 7. The theft was reported to police on Jan. 17 while church administrators were attempting to locate and question parishioners about the missing items.

Metal items were reported stolen from a construction site in the N88 W15400 block of Main Street at 12:32 p.m. Jan. 13.

Purses were stolen from two locked vehicles in the parking lot of the YMCA, N84 W17501 Menomonee Ave., between 4:30 and 5:02 p.m. Jan. 16. The unknown suspect(s) smashed windows to gain entry to the vehicles.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana after police pulled him over for an unregistered vehicle violation on U.S. Highway 41 and Main Street at 12:19 a.m. Jan. 17.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 58-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after his van was struck by a vehicle attempting to make a left turn onto Lilly Road from westbound Silver Spring Road at 9:23 p.m. Jan. 13. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 25-year-old Brookfield man who was also injured in the accident, was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

A 22-year-old Lannon woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and operating with prohibited alcohol content after police pulled her over for a registration lamp violation on Silver Spring Drive and Ridgewood Drive at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 14. Her blood alcohol content was 0.18.

ACCIDENTS

A 46-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was injured while she was walking west in the crosswalk on Highway 175 (Appleton Avenue) and was struck by a vehicle making a left turn from Menomonee Avenue to northbound Appleton Avenue at 9:10 p.m. Jan. 16. The operator of the vehicle, a 17-year-old Menomonee Falls boy, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.

VANDALISM

An unknown vehicle drove on the soccer fields at Oakwood Park, W143 N6889 Aspen Drive, causing ruts and damage to the lawn sometime between 8 a.m. Jan. 12 and 8 a.m. Jan. 16. Damage is estimated at $500.

A resident reported graffiti spray-painted on a stop sign on Woodview Drive and Menomonee Manor Drive at 8:15 a.m. Jan. 19. Damage to the sign is estimated at $100.

OTHER

A 69-year-old Menomonee Falls man was bitten on the leg by a dog on Lone Oak Lane and Graysland Drive at 3:25 p.m. Jan. 18. The owner of the dog, a 73-year-old Menomonee Falls man, was issued a warning for harboring a vicious animal and a quarantine order was ordered.
