BURGLARY

1An air-conditioning unit and installation hardware were stolen from a detached garage in the W178-N8400 block of Village Court between 5 p.m. June 29 and 8 a.m. July 2. The garage apparently was left unlocked at various times over the weekend, and there were no signs of forced entry.

THEFT

2A woman's purse was stolen out of a locked vehicle in the YMCA parking lot, N84-W17501 Menomonee Ave., between 6:15 and 7:45 p.m. July 2. A window was broken to gain access to the vehicle.

3A GPS unit and $200 were stolen from two locked vehicles in the Radisson parking lot, N88-W14750 Main St., between 10:15 p.m. July 2 and 5 a.m. July 3. Loss is estimated at $400. A pry tool was used to smash the vehicles' side windows.

4A Germantown man reported an unknown man reached into his van through the driver-side window and stole his GPS unit while he was at the Furniture Hospital, N89-W16766 Appleton Ave., at 9:40 a.m. July 3. When the victim confronted the other man, the thief threw the GPS unit at the victim and ran off.

DRUG POSSESSION

Officers investigating a report of fireworks going off in a residential area arrested a 21-year-old Thiensville man for possession of marijuana after they found a plastic bag containing THC in his pants pocket in the W152-N7300 block of Westwood Drive at 2 a.m. June 30. The man also was cited for igniting fireworks.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 27-year-old Pewaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove into a cement culvert and struck a tree in the N48-W13300 block of Hampton Road at 2:20 a.m. June 26. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, and his blood was drawn so a blood-alcohol content could be determined.

A 35-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for drunken driving at Spruce Lane and Marcy Road at 12:05 a.m. June 29. This was man's fourth arrest for drunken driving within a five-year period. He was taken for a blood draw so his BAC could be determined.

A 68-year-old West Bend man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, after he was pulled over for not having any taillights on Highway 41 at 10:20 p.m. June 29. His blood was drawn so his BAC could be determined.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving after police found an open bottle of alcohol in her car during a traffic stop at Main Street and Patton Drive at 9:50 p.m. June 30. Her BAC was 0.09.

An 18-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for drunken driving after officers found open intoxicants in his car during a traffic stop at Mill Ridge and Ash drives at 2:05 a.m. July 1. His BAC was 0.17. Three passengers in the car were cited for underage drinking, and one of the passengers, a 19-year-old Menomonee Falls man, was arrested for possession of marijuana after he threw a plastic bag containing THC in the roadway.

VANDALISM

A residential swimming pool's plastic liner was cut in the W171-N8400 block of Allen Avenue between 2:15 a.m. June 28 and 5:15 a.m. June 29.

A resident reported seeing two male juveniles spray-painting graffiti on the support of the foot bridge in Rotary Park at Pilgrim Road and Menomonee River Parkway shortly after 8:30 p.m. July 2.

Nine golf carts and three flag markers were damaged during a vandalism spree at Silver Spring Country Club, N56-W21318 Silver Spring Drive, between 9:30 p.m. July 4 and 7:30 a.m. July 5. The securing cable on the golf carts was cut and two carts were driven around the course, running over three golf hole flag markers. Seven carts were damaged when a screwdriver-like tool was used to engage the dashboard key systems/ignitions in an attempt to drive them. Damage is estimated at $630.

OTHER

A 19-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for bail-jumping and an absolute sobriety violation in the W147-N8400 block of Manchester Drive at 8:10 p.m. July 4.

Menomonee Falls police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with one rescue call between June 29 and July 6.
