THEFT
1The driver of a blue/gray sedan left without paying for $49 of gas at Good To Go Citgo, N88 W15167 Main St., at 1:10 p.m. March 2. The suspect, a male in his 20s, was last seen driving eastbound on Main Street.
2An employee at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, reported a man in his late 40s shoplifted a pair of $199 Beats by Dre headphones at 8:10 p.m. Feb. 27. The subject used an unknown tool to cut the headphones off a locked peg then exited the store with the unpaid item in a Target bag. The suspect was identified as a 47-year-old Milwaukee man, who was ordered in for questioning.
3The driver of a dark gray Volkswagen Jetta left without paying for $56 of gas at BP Amoco, N71 W13161 Appleton Ave., at about 1 p.m. March 3. The clerk obtained a license plate number, which police discovered was stolen off a rental car parked at Golden Corral in Waukesha earlier that day.
4The driver of a dark blue Volkswagen with Tennessee license plates left without paying for $50 of gas at Wittlin's, N92 W17387 Appleton Ave., at about 4:20 p.m. March 5. The suspect then pulled out of the gas station driveway at a high rate of speed directly in front of a car driving eastbound on Appleton Avenue, causing the driver of the eastbound car to swerve into the left lane and strike another vehicle. Police were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported.
5The driver of a dark-colored Mercedes-Benz left without paying for $20 of gas at BP, N71 W13161 Appleton Ave., at 8:50 p.m. March 6. The suspect, described as a 5-feet, 10-inches tall male in his early 20s, was last seen driving southbound on Appleton Avenue from Good Hope Road. Police discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen in Milwaukee and photos of the suspect are being distributed to area gas stations.
6An unknown subject(s) stole 29 McElroy pipe rollers that were stored outside two utility trailers in a field in the N56 W19900 block of Silver Spring Drive between 8 a.m. Feb. 21 and 9 a.m. March 6. The pipe rollers are about one foot tall by one foot long and were unsecured when they were taken.
VANDALISM
7A 2011 Toyota Camry parked in the lot at Kohl's Credit Center, N54 W13600 Woodale Drive, was dented and scratched between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 1. There were no known suspects at the time of the report.
OTHER
8A 22-year-old Germantown man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a glass marijuana pipe with a partially burned bowl of marijuana in his car during a traffic stop on Appleton Avenue and St. Francis Drive at 11:25 a.m. March 6. The officer noted on the report that the man had sprayed "body spray" in an attempt to mask the odor of marijuana when he was pulled over by police.
9Officers responding to a report of a loud argument in the parking lot of DJ's Goal Post, N81 W15094 Appleton Ave., arrested a 19-year-old Menomonee Falls man for possession of drug paraphernalia after finding a marijuana pipe in his possession at about 4:30 p.m. March 6. Police also cited him, and an 18-year-old Menomonee Falls woman, for underage drinking, and he was taken into custody when police discovered he was on probation for a felony offense.
Menomonee Falls police assisted the fire department with one emergency/rescue call between March 1 and March 6.
