Police Report: March 12

THEFT

1The driver of a dark maroon Buick left without paying for $19 of gas at Pilgrim Petro, N48 W15636 Lisbon Road, at 5:55 p.m. March 6. The same vehicle and occupants are believed to be involved in numerous thefts of gas in New Berlin, Brookfield and Wauwatosa. Police have surveillance video of the theft and are investigating.

2A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting a bottle of cologne from Kohl's Department Store, N95 W18000 Appleton Ave., at 4:35 p.m. March 7. The suspect attempted to use a stolen credit card to pay for the merchandise, and when the card was rejected she left the store without paying. Officers also discovered two stolen Wisconsin IDs in her purse during her arrest. She was transported to Waukesha County Jail; additional theft charges were pending at the time of the incident report.

ASSAULT

3A 30-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for battery after he grabbed a 30-year-old woman by the neck and hit her in the face at a residence in the W151 N8300 block of Thomas Drive at 11 p.m. March 5.

DRUG POSSESSION

4A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana on Caroline Drive and Cleveland Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. March 3. The suspect performed and failed field sobriety testing and was also taken into custody for drugged driving. A passenger in his car was also cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

5A 58-year-old Germantown man was arrested for drunken driving, sixth offense, after he was observed backing his vehicle out of the lot at Liquor Lodge, N85 W16035 Appleton Ave., at 9 p.m. March 4. His blood alcohol content was 0.22.

VANDALISM

6An unknown suspect(s) spray-painted graffiti on play equipment in the park across from the public library in the W156 N8400 block of Pilgrim Road prior to 9:45 a.m. March 7. An extra watch was requested in the area during after-school hours.

Menomonee Falls police responded to one domestic violence call between March 2 and March 7.
