Police Report: March 26

THEFT

1A 42-year-old Hartford man was arrested for theft after he stole a power tool out of a locked garage in the N86 W16300 block of Appleton Avenue sometime between March 1 and March 15. The suspect admitted stealing to "send a message" to the victim, who was a former girlfriend and business associate of the suspect.

2A 33-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, both of West Bend, were cited for shoplifting from Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, after four people were seen placing a coffee maker and three vacuum cleaners into a shopping cart and pushing the cart outside without paying for the merchandise at 2:15 p.m. March 8. Police are following up with the remaining two suspects.

3A red, 20-inch Trek bicycle was stolen at Menomonee Falls High School, W142 N8101 Merrimac Drive, between 7:55 a.m. and 3 p.m. March 16. The bike was stolen off the bike rack on the west side of the school and was unsecured.

4A 9mm handgun was stolen out of an unlocked truck parked in the N69 W13500 block of Hardin Drive between 4:30 a.m. March 16 and 7 p.m. March 18.

5A 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for receiving stolen property at Best Buy, N95 W16855 Richfield Way, shortly after 4 p.m. March 20. The suspects allegedly accessed a store display using store keys and then fled the store with the keys. The two suspects were also cited for possession of shielding/theft defeating devices.

DRUG POSSESSION

6A 18-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a warrant search at Harvey Moys, N89 W16754 Appleton Ave., at 9:15 p.m. March 14.

7A 25-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at a residence in the W159 N4800 block of Graysland Drive at 7:25 p.m. March 21.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

8A 37-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving on Appleton Avenue and Main Street at 12:50 a.m. March 17. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable at the time of the incident report.

9A 20-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for drunken driving on Appleton Avenue and Jacobson Drive at 2:33 a.m. March 18. Her preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.88.

VANDALISM

10Graffiti was written with black marker on the basketball courts at Willowood Park, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, between 9 a.m. March 16 and 9 a.m. March 21.

OTHER

Menomonee Falls police responded to one domestic violence call and one rescue call between March 16 and March 21.
