BURGLARY

1An attempted break-in was reported on a 16-foot Cargo Express utility trailer stored at business property in the 5800 block of Lilly Road between 4:30 and 11:50 p.m. May 16. The unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry to the trailer by using a prying device, which broke one lock and hasp. The trailer is used to store equipment used by We Energies and KS Energy Services. Damage to the trailer is estimated at $400.

THEFT

2A digital media player was taken from a locked gym locker at Menomonee Falls High School, W142 N8101 Merrimac Drive, between 3:10 p.m. May 8 and 4 p.m. May 9. It was unknown how the suspect gained entry to the locker.

3An estimated 1,170 feet of We Energies copper lined cable, valued at $13,000, was taken from the 5800 block of Lilly Road between 4:30 p.m. May 10 and 6:30 a.m. May 14.

4The driver of a blue, 1998 Chevy Malibu left without paying for $40 of gas at Speedway, N87 W17245 Main St., at 8 p.m. May 12.

5A touch screen digital navigation system, a pair of women's sunglasses, 12 music CDs, an amplifier and tweeter speakers were taken from a locked vehicle in the W124 N8100 block of Highway 145 between 1:30 and 3 a.m. May 14. Total loss, including damage to the vehicle, is estimated at $2,200.

6Shingles were taken off the roof of the north shelter at Willowood Park, N55 W15001 Silver Spring Drive, between 1 and 7 a.m. May 17. The unknown suspect(s) placed a picnic table under the shelter and stacked two garbage cans on top of the table to gain access to the roof. This was the second incident in two days in which suspects gained access to the low roof.

7A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting food and beverages at Woodman's Food Market, W124 N8145 Highway 145, at 4:15 p.m. May 17.

VANDALISM

8A dual-roll toilet paper dispenser, valued at $15, was damaged in the women's comfort station at Oakwood Park, W143 N6889 Aspen Drive, between 7 a.m. May 13 and 7:30 a.m. May 14.

9Graffiti was spray-painted underneath the east railroad trestle, a highway barrier and a folding stop sign at Town Line and Mill roads between 1:45 a.m. May 12 and 3 a.m. May 14.

10An unknown suspect(s) sprayed expanding foam on play equipment located in Rotary Park, W144 N8536 MacArthur Drive, between 3:30 p.m. May 16 and 7:30 a.m. May 17. A damage estimate was not available at the time of the report.

OTHER

11A 60-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for a probation violation in the W186 N7000 block of Marcy Road at 8:25 p.m. May 13. The suspect was arrested after it was found he was intoxicated during an altercation with his brother at the residence, which was in violation of his probation.
