THEFT

1A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing $892 from a safe at the Salvation Army store, N89 W16895 Appleton Ave., between 8:15 p.m. Sept. 19 and 7:35 a.m. Sept. 20. The suspect is an assistant manager at the store. Police recovered $751 of the stolen money and returned it to the business.

2A purse containing a wallet, cash, debit and credit cards was stolen from a locked vehicle parked at Froedtert Health Menomonee Falls Clinic, W180 N7950 Town Hall Road, between 12:30 and 3 p.m. Sept. 21. A passenger side window was smashed to gain access.

3An unknown man shoplifted $506 worth of tools at O'Reilly Auto Parts, N84 W15740 Appleton Ave., shortly before 9 a.m. Sept. 17. The suspect, a 6-foot, 4-inch tall male in his 20s with a thin build and wearing wire-rim glasses, concealed the items in a backpack and fled the area in a white, newer model full-size car.

4A laptop computer was stolen from a hallway at Falls Baptist Church, N69 W12703 Appleton Ave., at 2:43 p.m. Sept. 22. The theft was captured on video surveillance but the suspect was not recognized by anyone at the church.

5A backpack containing a debit card was stolen from the hallway at Falls Baptist Church, N69 W12703 Appleton Ave., between 8:20 and 10:50 p.m. Sept. 22. The unknown suspect(s) attempted to use the debit card at various gas stations in Milwaukee.

6A locked steel cage containing two full tanks of liquid propane and two empty tanks was stolen from City Electric Supply, N56 W13564 Silver Spring Drive, between 5 p.m. Sept. 22 and 3 p.m. Sept. 24.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

7A 57-year-old Oconomowoc woman was arrested for drunken driving and hit and run after she struck a construction barrel on Highway 41/45 and Main Street while driving without her headlights on at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 22. She was also cited for operating with prohibited alcohol content and for having no insurance. Her preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.17.

ACCIDENTS

8A 54-year-old Saukville woman was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after she was struck by a car while attempting to make a left turn into the Menomonee Falls North Junior High parking lot while driving eastbound on Main Street at 7:40 a.m. Sept. 19. She was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

VANDALISM

9Graffiti was discovered on the parking lot at Trennary Field in Village Park, W156 N8600 Pilgrim Road, at 6:55 p.m. Sept. 24. An unknown person used blue spray paint and sprayed a cross with the words "revive is back," the word "revival" and a three-point crown with cross.

OTHER

10A 27-year-old man was arrested for obstructing after he provided numerous false identifications to police after being pulled over for speeding on Pilgrim Road and Appleton Avenue at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 23. He was taken into custody and transported back to the police department for fingerprint identification, where it was found he held a Department of Corrections felony warrant for probation violation and he was transported to the Waukesha County Jail.

11A 46-year-old Menomonee Falls man was cited for harboring a vicious animal after his dog bit a man in the N87 W17700 block of Shepard Drive on Sept. 23. The victim was treated for a puncture wound on his left hand.

Menomonee Falls police responded to one rescue call between Sept. 19 and Sept. 24.
