Germantown Gridiron Club Punt, Pass and Kick results

The Germantown Gridiron Club held a Punt, Pass and Kick competition during halftime of the Warhawks win over Whitefish Bay on Friday.

Winners included Robbie Gaertner in the 4- to 6-year-old group, Will Van Fossen in the first- and second-graders category, Kaden Merriweather in the third- and fourth-grade competition and D.J. Hess in the fifth- and sixth-grade event.

Woosencraft places twice in national track meet

Retired Menomonee Falls High School Principal Richard P. Woosencraft took sixth in both the shot put and discus in his age group at the USTFA Senior Outdoor National Masters track meet held recently in Lisle, Ill.

Woosencraft said he was competing in a very deep field and would have had to turn in considerable personal-best efforts to improve his spot in either event.

He threw the shot 37-2 and the discus 125-6 for his places.
