Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 Genesee Street, Delafield, will hold a rummage sale on Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Great Hall. Admission is free.
Proceeds from the event will be used to fund travel-related expenses for the congregation’s youth group at the 2012 ELCA National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
Persons interested in donating items to the sale are asked to drop them at the church Monday, May 9, through Thursday, May 12, between 6 and 8 p.m.
An ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) church, Christ the King has nearly 1,000 parishioners and welcomes new members. A special Saturday service is held each Saturday at 5 p.m., in addition to the regular Sunday morning services at 8:15 and 10 a.m.
