Optimist Club Fall Clean Up
The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls is planning the Fall Clean Up of area Senior Citizen yards for Saturday, November 3rd . Optimist Club members and area youth groups team up to help Senior Citizens with their yard work that day. Any interested Senior Citizen should call the Community Education & Recreation Department at 255-8460 for more details. All donations (not required) for the work will be given to the participating youth organizations.
The motto of the Optimist Club is “Friend of Youth” and “Bringing out the Best in Kids”. Many community events are sponsored by the Optimist club such as the Independence Day Parade, Kids' Fishing Derby, Adopt A Highway, Leaf Raking for Senior Citizens, and many more.
Some of the youth projects the club sponsors are Post Prom, Jr Miss, Student of the Month, Tri Star Baseball, and many scholarship opportunities.
