Just Between Friends (JBF) has announced that its Washington and Ozaukee County Fall Consignment Sale will open Wednesday, October 2, and run through Sunday, October 6, at Washington County Fair Park, 3000 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend.
The sale will offer gently used and new children’s and junior clothing, maternity clothing, toys, strollers, car seats, shoes, DVDs, board and electronic games, books, children’s shoes, and much more.
JBF is working with the Salvation Army again this year to further awareness of the Salvation Army’s efforts to help those in need. Salvation Army will also be among the community organizations that will receive donations of unsold items following the Washington and Ozaukee County JBF sale, along with Hearts in Unity, Gingerbread House (Youth and Family Project), and Soles for Jesus.
Hours for the Washington and Ozaukee County sale will be Wednesday, October 2, Thursday, October 3, and Friday October 4, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, October 5, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, October 6, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Half Price Sale will take place on Saturday, October 5, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Wednesday, a $3 admission fee will be charged, with no admission charge the other four days.
“Our fall sale features a great selection of clothes for all seasons, along with high demand toys, games, books and more,” Ammie Maltz, organizer of the Washington and Ozaukee County sale said. “This sale always offers a huge selection of Halloween costumes as well, which really helps save on buying new costumes for the kids each year” added Maltz.
All items are inspected before the event for current fashion, stains, tears, and inclusion of all parts. Items are organized like a children’s store, where everything is divided by gender, size, category, and brand name.
JBF team members staff each sale and earn various benefits for working the sales. To learn more about opportunities and rewards of joining the team for each individual sale, visit www.jbfsale.com. Consignors utilize an exclusive, free barcode tagging system to tag items, keep track of daily sales, and manage an accurate, itemized list of any unsold, fashionable, and desirable items that are then donated on behalf of JBF and the consignors to organizations for area families in need.
Just Between Friends serves more than 260,000 American families in 22 states and provides an opportunity for families to recycle their kids’ clothing and toys. Wisconsin currently offers six JBF sales events with each independently operated. The Salvation Army is an international movement located in over 100 countries around the world. It has been serving communities in the Greater Milwaukee for over 100 years.
The last of three JBF Fall regional consignment sales will be in Waukesha County, Thursday, October 17, through Sunday, October 20, at the Waukesha County Expo Center.
