Nourish Your Noggin Program Slated for Falls Library
Judy Gunkel, representing the Alzheimer’s Association, will present a program entitled Nourish Your Noggin: Necessities for Brain Wellness on Monday evening, November 23rd from 7-8:30 PM at the Menomonee Falls Public Library. The program, which is free to the public, will be held in the library’s Meeting/Community Room.
Gunkel is the Regional Services Coordinator for the Waukesha County Alzheimer’s Association, Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter. Her program will help the audience learn more about how memory works and what age-related memory changes are normal and which aren’t. She will discuss things that can be done to maximize brain wellness and to help reduce own’s risk of developing dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
