Civil War Re-Enactment at Old Falls Village
Go back in time on July 17th & 18th and view life for the troops and civilians during the Civil War. Watch a battle unfold, hear the firing of the cannon and see the troops march. Listen to period music by the 5th WI Volunteer Field Music or the Regimental Volunteer Band of WI. Chat a spell with "President Abe Lincoln" or his son, "Robert Todd." Maybe learn some Victorian dance steps from the West Side Victorian dancers. View a fashion show; come see what women wore to do it all and colorful, lesser known uniforms of the North & South. The 13th annual Civil War Re-enactment will be held at Old Falls Village, a 17-acre living history museum. The event is sponsored by the Menomonee Falls Historical Society and is located atN96 W15791 County Lind Rd - 1/2 mi east of Hwy 41/45 at the southwest corner of County Line Rd and Pilgrim Rd.
